This is a great article from Time Magazine about why some women are so venomous towards Sarah Palin.

Personally I think the article can be summed up with this quote.

Women are weapons-grade haters.

And before you get on my case the article was written by a woman.

BOSTON — Comedian Sandra Bernhard says the decision by a women's shelter to cut her act from its annual benefit was based on a misleading account of what she said about Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.

Bernhard made the remarks last month during her one-woman show in Washington before Palin visited New York to campaign. The 53-year-old comedian said Palin would be "gang-raped by my big black brothers" during a diatribe in which she also criticized Palin for opposing abortion rights.

Stay classy Palin haters.

The e-mail address it came from was allegedly service@yahoo.co.jp. Which would mean that the IRS uses Yahoo Mail from Japan.

I never knew that the IRS had a Japanese branch office.

LOS ANGELES — Actress and new mom Amanda Peet referred to parents who choose not to vaccinate their children as “parasites” in a recent interview. But despite her public apology aimed at parents of autistic children who believe that vaccines may have caused the illness, Jenny McCarthy hasn’t forgiven or forgotten.

"She (Peet) has a lot of [nerve] to come forward and be on that side, because there is an angry mob on my side, and I like the fact that I can say she's completely wrong,'' McCarthy (whose 6-year-old son has autism) tells the upcoming issue of Spectrum magazine, which hits stands Wednesday.

If I was Amanda Peet I would not only have not apologized I would have called her ignorant, misinformed, a Luddite, and a fearmonger as well.

Either yesterday or tomorrow marks the official 11th Anniversary of my web presence. 11 years ago I launched my first crappy website in Tripod. (Remember them?) 11 years later I now have 9 crappy websites. I'm not addicted or anything.

I mean it's one thing to disagree with a candidate but some of you act like Sarah Palin personally shot your dog from a plane or something.

A white supremacist group passed around a bunch of racist anti-Obama leaflets around a small town. Where do you think this happened?

Alabama? Mississippi? Georgia? How about none of the above? How about not even south of the Mason-Dixon line? How about my good old home state of New Jersey?

Like I keep saying, I saw more instances of racial hate crimes in New Jersey than I ever did living and working in the south.

In the past week, CNN has received more than 200 unsolicited e-mails from people complaining about the new Facebook. Several online petitions are circulating that urge Facebook to give users the option of returning to the old format. One, Petition Against the New Facebook, was launched by Scott Sanders, a student at Austin Peay State University in Clarksville, Tennessee, and has more than 1.5 million names.

That's 1.5 million people that seriously need to get a life, or go outside or something.

A new coalition of 22 major medical groups says public confidence in vaccine safety needs to be restored to avoid risks for deadly disease outbreaks.

Thursday's message comes from the Chicago-based American Medical Association, the American Academy of Pediatrics and 20 more of the nation's most influential health-related groups.

It's not public confidence. It's an ignorant and very loud minority that would rather have an epidemic happen than have an unproven side effect of the vaccine happen to their precious little snowflakes.

Teachers and parents in Dallas, Texas, are angry about new grading policies that they say are dumbing down the district and pushing students through the system who haven't earned it.

One of the most contentious of the policies allows a student who fails a test to retake it, with the lower score being tossed out.

Yeah, that's just great. Let's keep protecting our kids from how the real world works.
