Man accused of Snapchat sexual assault on teen

Steven A. Bahr

I really wanted to use one of those “You won’t believe what happened next” type of headlines because I think this something that all parents and kids need to see. However I refuse to stoop to those levels.

Anyway, 31-year-old Steven A. Bahr of Sheboygan, Wisconsin is accused of sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl after she posted a pic of herself on Snapchat. For those of you who may not know Snapchat is a smartphone app where the picture someone takes is supposed to disappear after a certain amount of time, usually within seconds.

Reports say that the girl sent out a picture of herself at a local supermarket. Bahr allegedly replied to the photo asking if she wanted to ‘chill’. Bahr is said to have driven up to the girl and asked her to get in. When she refused Bahr supposedly grabbed the girl by the arm and put her in his truck. They made several stops before getting to Bahr’s place but the victim said she was afraid to ask for help. The alleged assault took place at Bahr’s residence. The girl reportedly said she was 17 on Snapchat but told Bahr that she was 15 before the assault took place.

Usually I’m not one to have problems with a victims story but I have a problem with this one. The first is that I thought someone had to be on your friends list to see your Snapchat pictures. (Please correct me if I’m wrong about that.) Was Bahr on hers? Secondly the fact that she lied about her age and didn’t ask for help during any stops make me wonder IF she voluntarily went with Bahr.

HOWEVER none of that matters because of one thing, the age of consent in Wisconsin is 18. 17, let alone 15, is well out of range of a 31-year-old man.

So parents, once again I say to you check your kids’ phones for this app. If they have it make sure you know who everyone on their friends list is. If you feel that your child should not have an app like Snapchat take steps to have it removed and blocked from the phone. I’m sure you don’t your child getting into the truck of a man in his 30s alone.

Sheboygan man arrested for MySpace blackmail

Don’t let the looks fool you. That is one evil and twisted S.O.B. right there.

18-year-old Dalton L. Vandeloo of Sheboygan, Wisconsin is accused of blackmailing women on MySpace into giving him nude photos using the name Vincent Galarza.

Police found a folder on his computer marked “blackmail” which had pictures of women on video and pictures exposing themselves to Vandeloo. Some were crying while they did it. One was even allegedly to write “I heart Dalton” across her chest.

It’s a good thing he was caught. This piece of trash sounds like he was only one step away from becoming a full blown rapist.

Woman strips in front of kids to avoid arrest

jlaackPolice say woman stripped to avoid arrest:

Police in Sheboygan, Wisconsin tried arresting 35-year-old Julia E. Laack for allegedly shoplifting some beef jerky and a lighter. When police came to her home to arrest her she began screaming and swearing at her three children. She blamed one of her teen kids and threatened to beat them. When police tried to arrest her she stripped down to her underwear and told them they couldn’t arrest her because she would be naked soon.

Police disagreed and tried to arrest her. She spit at the police and kicked one of them in the groin. When they finally got her in the car she pressed ham against the window and told a female officer that her children were going to die.

Did I mention that Laack had a BAC of 0.112? You know when you’re drinking like that you have to have beef jerky and smokes.
