Doesn’t this figure. First it was China now it’s Cuba. I guess King of All Assclowns Michael Moore is going to be hitting all the Communist hot spots. I guess North Korea is up next on his leftist propaganda tour. Check out these quotes…
“We hope this film will lead Americans to see the reality of their government, and not only deny Bush reelection but put him on trial for the harm he has done to humanity,” said retired worker Armando Rodriguez.
“The film is a work of love for humanity. It confirms what many of us believe, that George W. Bush is a real threat to the world,” said University of Havana professor Arnaldo Coro Antich.
Nothing like hand-picked spokespeople for the Castro regime. I also love how Reuters plays it like Cuba is some innocent victim picked on by the U.S. Let me see, Castro routinely has dissidents imprisoned or killed. He opened up all his prisons and let actual criminals use boats to try to get to the U.S. Reuters conveniently left that out of their article. Reuters try to redeem themselves in the end by adding this little blurb…
Cuban dissidents who saw “Fahrenheit 9/11” praised the United States for its freedom of expression and lamented that such criticism of a president was not allowed in Cuba where the one-party state controls the media.
Not only do they control the media they routinely kill dissidents that speak out against them. I know I said that already but it bears repeating. This is your audience, Mr. Moore. Communist dictators. Enemies of this country. A country that if you lived there you wouldn’t be able to make a movie that questions that country’s government. A country that if you made a movie like that you’d be imprisoned with no trial or you’d be dead. But by all means please keep taking advantage of the freedoms you routinely enjoy by licking the boots of dictators that are covered in the blood of innocents.
Hey, I made it through a Michael Moore entry without calling him a fat piece of crap….aw dammit.
