2nd Quartz Hill suspect to be tried as adult

Teen in attack scheme to be tried as adult:

The 17-year-old suspect in the plot to attack Quartz Hill High in California will be tried as an adult…

The 17-year-old boy, whose name won’t be released until he is formally charged Monday in Antelope Valley Superior Court, was found unfit to be tried as a juvenile after an all-day Juvenile Court hearing Thursday, Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office officials said.

The other suspect cannot be tried as an adult because that suspect was 15 at the time of his arrest and under the local law, you must be 16 to be tried as an adult.
