Wisc. craigslist creeper knew 14 would get him 20

I really don’t mean to be picking on the upper Midwest today but Minnesota and Wisconsin seem to be producing all the creepers today.

For example, 43-year-old Jon Mulder, of La Crosse, Wisconsin, was recently arrested for allegedly soliciting sex from a 14-year-old girl on craigslist. Police say that Mulder responded to the following ad on the casual encounters section…

“Home BORED!!! – w4m – Lookin for some fun with no judgements. Hit me up for some fun & we can party. :))”

Except the 14-year-old girl was actually La Crosse police. This is where all the cries of entrapment will come up from people who don’t really know the definition of entrapment, but I’ll humor them.

While talking with the girl when the subject of her age was approached Mulder allegedly said…

“Your age could get me 20 years in prison”

So not even close to entrapment.

  1. So CL is dangerous, I used to buy like Furniture and antiques on there, after doing a search on the phone number/email and I even asked for their Facebook to see if they’re like a real person.

I recently discovered an app (or site) that’s better and safer it’s called: OfferUp. It’s free to download, or you can view on the site. When someone sells something they have to give a scan of their license, and a valid number and email. I’m sure it’s not a perfect system but it’s better than CL. Also each seller has a picture and a profile that must match what on their ID. Idk if it’s in all cities but I have it here in NE Ohio.
