Charles P. Lovejoy,
31-year-old Charles P. Lovejoy, of Lowell, Massachusetts, is a convicted sex offender who is currently being held on $1 million bail after being arrested for allegedly raping a 14-year-old girl that he met on Kik.
Lovejoy is accused of taking the girl to a graveyard in Whitman where he reportedly raped the girl. Police pulled him over shortly after the crime occurred where he reportedly told police he was taking a ‘young cousin’ to a family member’s gravesite. It also didn’t help that Lovejoy’s information came back to the officer that the man in question was a level 3 sex offender. The victim also told police she wasn’t related to Lovejoy.
In 2010, Lovejoy was convicted of indecent assault and battery on a child, but only received two years of prison and five years of probation. That doesn’t sound like much of a sentence.
As I’ve mentioned many times, Kik is awash with sex offenders and pedophiles. If you’re not watching your kids someone else will be.
Dene High School at the La Loche Community School
The still as yet unnamed gunman from the shooting at Dene High School at the La Loche Community School, has pleaded guilty to first-degree murder in the deaths of school employees Marie Janvier and Adam Wood. He has also pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the deaths of brothers Dayne and Drayden Fontaine, who were shot and killed at a residence prior to the school shooting. The gunman was 17 at the time of the shootings and under Canada’s Youth Criminal Justice Act, the shooter can not be named.
Which brings us to sentencing. Previously prosecutors have stated that they are seeking to have the gunman sentenced as an adult. The gunman was around a month away from his 18th birthday when he committed these crimes and many relatives of his victims and the victims that lived would also like to see him sentenced as an adult. If he is to be sentenced as a juvenile he would only be in detention for 10 years, while an adult sentencing would mean a mandatory life sentence with parole being deferred 25 years for each victim.
While no official motive has been given to the shootings, some reports say that the gunman was teased about his ears. If he thinks that’s a reason to commit a killing spree then he most definitely needs to be locked away for the rest of his natural life.
His next scheduled court appearance is scheduled for January 31st.
UPDATE 5/19/2017: During the sentencing hearing witnesses testified that the gunman asked workers at the juvenile detention facility if he was going to receive a gift for the one year anniversary of the shootings?
Court documents revealed that he looked up the names of the Columbine cowards before the attack.
FOX25 from Oklahoma City is reporting that the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation has submitted search warrants to Facebook in order to obtain information that they hope will lead to the killer of Carina Saunders.
In particular the OSBI is looking into three individuals. The first is 41-year-old Judy Roberts who is believed to have possibly been on the way to the casino with Carina before she disappeared. Roberts is also believed to have crossed the Mexican drug cartels in some way. The next person is Kyle Savage. Savage is to believed to have sent a threatening Facebook message to someone in Carina’s family that allegedly said “I’m going to bury you next to Carina.” Savage can’t or won’t explain why he sent this message before Carina’s body had been found. Lastly, the OSBI seem to be interested in Kenny Richards, who investigators believe prostituted her before her death.
None of these people are Jimmy Lee Massey Jr. and Luis E. Ruiz, who were previously arrested for Carina’s murder, but charges were dropped against them due to lack of real evidence. However the charges were dropped without prejudice, so they could be arrested again if the evidence supports it.
I hope this will lead investigators to bring Carina’s killer, or killers, to justice. It doesn’t matter what Carina may have done in her short life, but she did not deserve to be brutally murdered, with her dismembered body stuffed in a duffel bag.
If anyone has any information about Carina’s murder please contact the OSBI Hotline at 1 (800) 522-8017.
In what is probably the biggest miscarriage of justice I’ve ever posted about on this site, Joseph Cyr was convicted in the murder of Jaymie Adams. Since the beginning, I have maintained that Jaymie Adams’ husband, Justin Adams, had more reasons to kill Jaymie than anybody. Even if Joseph Cyr isn’t innocent, there was enough reasonable doubt, in my opinion, that the jury should have come back with a not guilty verdict.
In their closing arguments, Joseph Cyr’s defense stated that not only did Jaymie Adams have no defensive wounds but no blood was ever found on Joseph Cyr’s clothes. Not to mention we should never forget that Justin Adams not only took out an insurance policy on his wife before her murder but he was also having an affair while police were looking for his missing wife. As far as I’m concerned the only thing that the prosecution was able to prove was that Cyr had sex with Jaymie Adams. Considering her husband was turning her out on craigslist as a prostitute this should come as no surprise. This is no knock against Jaymie Adams but what connections does Justin Adams have to not only have gotten parole on manslaughter charges for his wife’s death but to be treated so saintly by the local media?
Until I hear a confession from Cyr himself or hear concrete evidence that proves he killed Jaymie without a shadow of a doubt I will maintain his innocence. I also maintain that the Oklahoma City police have railroaded an innocent man and should be investigated for improprieties involving this investigation.
The jury has recommended a life sentence without parole for Cyr but as of now, this man should not be spending a minute in jail.
Did you know that the trial for Jaymie Adams’ murder started in Oklahoma City? You couldn’t tell by looking at the press. While the trial started on October 17th, today was the first I saw anything about it in the news. That’s eight days after the trial had already started. So what does the press deem worthy enough to finally report on about this trial? The testimony of ‘widower’ Justin Adams.
This is the same Justin Adams that was prostituting his pregnant wife on craigslist. The same Justin Adams who was allegedly having an affair with another woman at the time of his wife’s murder. The same Justin Adams who took out a $100K life insurance policy on his wife prior to her murder. The same Justin Adams who was only charged with manslaughter in his wife’s death and walked out of court a free man.
So what did he testify?
“We had no other choice,” Justin Dewayne Adams testified. “It was something we fell into to pay bills.”
“Neither one of us really enjoyed what she was doing … It was demeaning towards her,” Justin Adams testified. “The money was great but it wasn’t worth what it was doing to us.”
Sorry, but I have a hard time believing that he’s the grieving widower whose wife was killed after they supposedly hit hard times.
Instead, the man being tried is Joseph Cyr. Investigators claim that Cyr’s DNA was found in Jaymie, even though it was not reported in the initial autopsy report. I have yet to see any kind of motive reported as to why Cyr would stab Jaymie Adams to death, only that he had sex with her.
I have a friend that has been attending the trial, and they’ve told me what hasn’t been reported on. What allegedly hasn’t been reported on is that the defense claims that there were two other DNA samples, besides Joseph Cyr’s recovered at the crime scene. One was in a used condom and another was on a cigarette butt. These DNA samples were said to be from unidentified males. My friend also said that Justin Adams’ mother, Tina Clarke, allegedly gave conflicting testimony to what Adams himself has claimed. This doesn’t necessarily make Cyr innocent but it sounds like it does cast reasonable doubt.
Why isn’t any of this being reported and why is the press making a pimp who possibly killed his own wife out to be a saint?
Late last week, Campbell County school shooter, Kenny Bartley, was released from jail yet again. He had been serving time for violating his probation when he failed to update his address with authorities and violating the terms of his alcohol monitoring bracelet.
In 2005, when Bartley was a teenager, he opened fire in the administration office of Campbell County High School in Tennessee, killing Principal Ken Bruce. He was charged as an adult and his plea deal saw him sentenced to 45 years. However, the plea was thrown out and a subsequent retrial saw Bartley being released after time served.
Sometime after his release, Bartley went to live with his counselor and her family in Virginia. The counselor’s young son has since died from blunt force trauma and the autopsy reports say that it was related to child abuse. Bartley was allegedly with the boy at the time. So far there have been no criminal charges filed in the boy’s death.
There have also been accusations that Bartley had been romantically involved with his counselor while in Virginia.
If history is any indicator it probably won’t be long before Bartley is in trouble again. The only question is will there be another body left in his wake?
Phillip and Violet Walter
Last week, Violet and Phillip Walter have been convicted in the murder of Abilene, Texas, police officer Don Allen, in his Clyde, Texas, home. Both Walters have been sentenced to 40 years behind bars for Officer Allen’s killing.
Officer Allen’s official cause of death was asphyxiation. Allen had placed a craigslist ad looking for a couple to help commit sex acts that included pegging, (WARNING: Explicit) and communication between Allen and the Walters seem to insinuate that erotic asphyxiation was on the table as well. The deputy medical examiner testified that an accidental death by erotic asphyxiation couldn’t be ruled out. Prosecutors argued that the Walters discussed plans to rob Officer Allen before his death occurred.
APD officer Tim Pipes read a series of text messages sent between Violet and Phillip on the day of Allen’s death. They showed Violet telling Phillip to find a way to get money to prevent impending homelessness and hunger. They then showed that Violet set up a meeting with a person referenced as “Clyde lick.” A Ranger testified earlier in the case that “lick” is slang for a robbery or the victim of a robbery. Another text message from Violet to Phillip says, “Choke him,” with another sent hours before Allen’s death saying, “Take him out all the way, just do it.”
Officer Allen’s death should serve as a warning to others looking to get their rocks off through craigslist. If a police officer isn’t safe from craigslist criminals, neither is anyone else. With craigslist’s low barrier of entry and implied notions of anonymity, crimes like these will only continue to occur.
19-year-old Carina Saunders’ mutilated body was found in a duffle bag behind a store in Bethany, Oklahoma, in 2011. It’s been long rumored that a video exists of Carina’s murder, now the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI) believes that the video does exist. A week and a half ago the OBSI held a press conference where they have offered a $10,000 reward for the video.
The OBSI also released additional details about Carina’a murder and initial disappearance…
Family members last saw Saunders on Sept. 28, 2011, and her body was found Oct. 13, 2011. Investigators have located surveillance video from Oct. 8, 2011, outside the Newcastle Casino. Saunders is seen getting into a red, four-door Ford pickup with a brush guard and lights on the top, Florence said.
The only description of anyone inside the pickup is a man with full tattoo sleeves on both arms, he said.
“Also worth making note of is that there were girls nearby in a dark car who were pleading with Carina not to go with them. To this date, we don’t know who those girls were, but we would like to know who they were,” Florence said. “If they will come forward, we’d like to talk to them, find out what they saw, what they witnessed, why they were concerned about Carina’s safety and getting in this red pickup.”
It has been thought that Carina’s murder had something to do with human trafficking. Two suspects had been previously arrested, however charges against them were dropped after the OBSI took over the investigation due to lack of evidence at the time. However the charges were dropped without prejudice, so the suspects could be arrested again if the evidence supports it.

31-year-old truck driver Kyle Townsend is accused of allegedly raping a 14-year-old boy that he met through craigslist. The Idaho Falls boy had placed an ad on craigslist, looking for a ride to Nevada. Police say that Townsend responded to the ad and picked up the boy at a local mall. Then this is reportedly what happened next…
Court records show Townsend forced the boy to perform sexual acts and then raped him. The teen reported to police he vomited after the assault and Townsend kicked him out of the truck saying the boy was “too easy.”
Townsend is also accused of trying to pick up another boy and sending him nude photos.
This is what a lot of predators do. The first victim in the story, more than likely, was having problems at home. Sexual predators will take advantage of situations like this in order to gain the trust of their victim. They’ll look for kids reaching out for help but instead of lending a helping hand they strike with a closed fist.
Early last week the 911 calls to police from the Townville Elementary School shooting were released. In one of those calls, the caller claimed that there was a second shooter in the area. Does this mean that Jesse Osborne had an accomplice that is currently at large? Not at all.
As I’ve discussed before second shooters in school shootings are rare and have only happened at Columbine and Jonesboro. Reportings of second shooters are usually due to multiple eyewitness reports of the same shooter or someone claiming that someone fleeing from the site is another shooter.
So don’t read too much into second shooter claims. Initial reports from school shootings are often incomplete or even downright wrong. The odds are it’s just two different witnesses describing the same person.
