Hug High School student who was shot by police was looking for a fight

Reno, Nevada, police have recently released new information about the student that was shot there by police earlier this month. While the 14-year-old student has not been identified by police or media, his family has identified him as Logan Clark.

After interviewing over 100 people, Reno police say that not only had Clark allegedly taken knives to school previously, but he did so in order to initiate a fight with another student

Police say during the course of the investigation it was learned the 14-year-old boy who was shot December 7, 2016 had taken knives to school on the days leading up to the incident, with the apparent intent to start a fight with another student. That altercation didn’t happen, but December 7, just before the shooting incident, the 14-year-old was involved in an altercation with a different student.

What’s the term for someone who goes around looking for a fight in school while armed? It’s on the tip of my tongue. Oh, that’s right, a bully. Funny how that always seems to work out.

According to police, not only did Clark cut the face of the student involved in the altercation but he also allegedly made ‘challenging statements’ to police while refusing to comply with police orders to disarm. It’s really no wonder this kid got shot, but let’s blame police instead for not talking to him about his feelings.

Speaking of police, there have still not been any charges filed against the acting officer or against Clark.

I just finished reading this in my local news (las vegas) I left a comment when you first posted this. I assumed that the kid was being bullied. I was WRONG. I will still stick to my ‘kids are a**holes these days’ comment though. To quote the original Bad News Bears “do you know what happens when you assume? You make an ASS out of U and ME!”

His dad even claimed that Clark was being bullied, but like I said before, usually in these cases the people who claimed they’re being bullied are usually the bullies themselves.

R u guys idiots. Wheres the god damn proof. I still havent gotten it. And in my investigation i interviwed 50 kids and they all told me logan was being beat up and had his lunch in his hands when he finally dropped his lunch and pulled out the knives and basically hit the senior in the face with it cause those knives werent sharp enough to cut. Where is the video of this happening. Why havent those been released. Out of how many recordings do u see this taking place. If that kid was gonna kill anyone dont u think he would have done that instead of hitting the kid in the face. How come in the recordings you dont hear logan saying anything at all. How come the kids who sawll Logan being shot did not even know he was shot by the cop. All the kids around him did not know what was going on so how was logan going to know he was going to be shot. Give me a break
