24-year-old Bryan Sanderson of Middletown, New Jersey, was convicted in 2013 of endangering the welfare of a child. This resulted in Sanderson being placed on the sex offender registry for life. Apparently, being on the registry did not discourage Sanderson from engaging in illicit behavior as he has been given a 24 count indictment for allegedly sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl he met through Kik.
Police say that during their investigation that they not only found Sanderson to be in possession of child porn but that he was trying to solicit sex from 12 and 13-year-olds as well. The investigation started when Sanderson was pulled over while having a 14-year-old girl in his car. Investigators believe that there may be more victims.

Not only does this show that Kik is still rampant with sex offenders and pedophiles, but sex offender registries don’t do much to keep predators from re-offending. Instead they should be kept in jail longer rather than be given probation.
