(Story broke 4/26/2017)
40-year-old Mark Trabucco, of Clay, New York, was a principal at a nearby middle school. He’s accused of allegedly using Snapch….hang on a sec…craigslist to have sexual contact with an underage girl. Sorry, when it comes to teachers, I start to type out Snapchat by force of habit.
There’s not as many details as I like, however, from what I can gather, Trabucco responded to a craigslist ad that was supposedly placed by the girl. Trabucco is said to have used this ad to arrange a meeting with the girl where they reportedly engaged in sexual contact. To further clarify, Trabucco was charged with two counts of a criminal sex act in the 3rd degree. According to a brief Google search, under New York state law, no person over 21-years of age can have sex with someone who is under the age of 17. The victim is said to have told her parents after the crime was committed.
Personally, I’d like to know what the ad was for, and why it caused Trabucco to allegedly proceed the way he did.
Lastly, the girl was not a student of his school. Well of course she wasn’t. Then he would have used Snapchat.
