Kenny Bartley found not guilty on assault charges

Kenny Bartley

If you’ll recall, Kenny Bartley was convicted of the 2005 murder of Campbell County High School principal Ken Bruce. Bartley was 15-years-old at the time. Bartley was charged as an adult and sentenced to 45 years behind bars. In 2014, at a retrial, Bartley was found guilty of only reckless homicide and was sentenced to time served. Since his release, Bartley has been no stranger to the law as he has been arrested multiple times and was present when his therapist’s son died from injuries related to child abuse.

The last we heard from Bartley, he was arrested last year for allegedly brandishing a mallet towards his father’s girlfriend while he was supposedly high on drugs and looking for money. His dumb luck continues as a Campbell County jury found him not guilty of the charges late last month.

This reeks of small town BS as they probably didn’t want to send this poor Campbell County boy back to prison. It’s only a matter of time before Bartley finds himself in hot water again. Hopefully, he won’t have taken another life when he finds himself behind bars again.

Why TF would the law do this? They’re clearly not helping this man and I predict another life will be lost. Because authorities failed to do their job. Don’t victim advocate or feel sorry for this man. He knows right from wrong he just wants to do things his way.
We’ve all been to hard knock schools, had rough childhoods too-
You don’t see us looking for excuses. Why should he be given another chance, he’s going to kill someone else before it’s all said and done.
    Le knows better.

    1. Thank you for your comment.

I hope you’re wrong in your prediction that another life will be lost but I’m afraid you’ll probably be right before all is said and done.
