Pa. teacher accused of Snapchatting three students

Pa. teacher accused of Snapchatting three students

29-year-old David Andrew Borghesani of Northampton, Pennsylvania, was a teacher at a nearby high school. He resigned from his position back in February after it came to light that he allegedly sent pictures of his junk to three separate students over Snapchat. He also allegedly exchanged explicit pictures with one of the students so you can add child porn charges to that as well.

If someone were to ask me what was the most popular social app among teens, I would have to say Snapchat since it’s the one creepy teachers use most to prey on students.

UPDATE 10/10/2017: Borghesani pleaded guilty to sending explicit Snapchat messages to students.

UPDATE 12/1/2017: Borghesani has been sentenced to 3 to 23 months in jail. Not nearly enough.

Iowa teacher accused of trading child porn on Kik

Michael Loren Ross

43-year-old Michael Loren Ross was an elementary teacher in Davenport, Iowa. That was before he was arrested for allegedly trading child porn on mobile messaging app Kik. He’s not believed to have had sexual contact with any of his students. He did reportedly say that he only had the child porn for personal viewing only. In case there was any question in your mind, that doesn’t make it any better. Nothing ever makes viewing child porn excusable.

Ross is out on bond and has pleaded not guilty.

Adam Russell Hegyi

30-year-old Adam Russell Hegyi, of Crown Point, Indiana, is facing federal prosecution for allegedly threatening and extorting an underage girl over social media. Hegyi is said to have used (deep breath) Omegle, Kik, Snapchat, Skype, Instagram, Facebook and FaceTime. What, no Friendster?

All kidding aside, Hegyi is one scary dude. After he allegedly coerced the girl into sending explicit photos, he threatened the girl’s family if she did not send more.

“If you don’t want any of this to happen, you need to send more pics without your face in them. You have 60 minutes starting now,” Hegyi said in a March message on Kik.

He is then said to have sent the pictures of the victim to her parents and claimed to have also sent them to students at her school.

That’s only the tip of the iceberg. I urge you read the linked article to see how mentally disturbed this assclown was.

I think it goes without saying, you need to know who your children are talking to on social media. Check all the accounts.

Andrew Potter

Click here for more stories about Kik

36-year-old Andrew Potter of Independence, Missouri, was arrested by the Faulkner County (Ark.) Sheriff’s Office for allegedly exchanging child porn with undercover investigators. FCSO investigators reportedly found Potter on Kik, in a group called ‘pedheaven’. Investigators posed as a man who was willing to let Potter have sex with his wife and possibly one of his kids. Potter was arrested in Faulkner County at the proposed meeting. Potter is also a registered sex offender and was said to have claimed to investigators he had sexual contact with a 14-year-old female. He is currently being held without bond.

Potter fits 3/4 of the Kik kreeper quartet. He’s a sex offender, more than likely a pedophile and probably a child porn collector, but he’s no Anthony Weiner.

Former Okla. State Senator Ralph Shortey indicted

Former Okla. State Senator Ralph Shortey indicted on child porn charges

Ralph Shortey

I originally posted about former Oklahoma State Senator Ralph Shortey here. Back in March, he was caught in a motel with a 17-year-old boy he met through craigslist, who Shortey was allegedly paying for sex. When asked about the situation, Shortey reportedly said “he was just there to hang out with his friend.”

More recently, Shortey was indicted in Federal Court on child porn charges along with the charge for child sex trafficking. Shortey is believed to have traded child porn on a social networking app of a prepubescent girl. He’s also accused of producing child porn by requesting an underage victim to send him explicit images over said social app. According to the indictment, the app used was Kik, but that’s for another website.

However, Shortey was released on a mere $5,000 bond. Why? If he was any other Joe Pedophile off the streets he’d probably be held on bond of at least $100,000 or more. I guess even disgraced state Senators still hold some sway even if they’re allegedly a sexual predator.

UPDATE 11/30/2017: Shortey has pleaded guilty to child sex trafficking. He is scheduled to be sentenced net year. He’s looking at 10 years in federal prison.

Florida man accused of blackmailing underage Facebook friend into sending nudes

Florida man accused of blackmailing underage Facebook friend into sending nudes

Robert Lufriu

26-year-old Robert Lufriu, of Hillsborough County, Florida, was arrested for allegedly soliciting nude photos from a 17-year-old female Facebook friend. Lufriu reportedly asked the girl for a picture after she confided a secret to him. He is said to have threatened to tell her parents if she didn’t send him a nude photo. He then is said to have offered the girl $50, alcohol and to take her shopping if she would provide him with more photos.

What a creep and a scumbag. This guy allegedly blackmailed his victim and basically treated her like a prostitute in order to get her to produce what is basically child porn for him. Not only that, but he seems to be at least a friend of the victim’s family. So he possibly betrayed the trust of a family just so he could treat the victim like his own personal porn factory. He even allegedly admitted to the girl’s parents that he asked her for photos.

Not only do you have to worry about strangers approaching your kids online, but in some cases, trusted friends as well. As they say, keep your friends close and your enemies closer because you never know when your friend is actually your child’s enemy.

Snapchat sleaze accused of trading nudes with roommate’s underage sister

Kevin Forst

Sometimes, I take heat from people who say that a child is more likely to be molested or solicited by someone they know rather than strangers online. While that is true, it doesn’t stop the people who are familiar with their victims from using social media to continue contacting them.

For example, take 26-year-old Kevin Forst of Bentonville, Arkansas. He’s accused of exchanging explicit pictures over Snapchat with a 15-year-old girl. That girl, from Florida, was visiting her sister in Bentonville, who was rooming with Forst. Forst was said to be flirting withe the girl while she visited, but the girl’s sister told them to knock it off.

Reportedly, they didn’t knock it off because Bentonville police received a call from the girl’s father in Florida to file a complaint about Forst. It seems the older sister tipped of their father who checked the girl’s cell phone and found the images. Forst is said to have admitted exchanging pics with the girl and being aware of her age. Forst is currently out on bond.

Good on the sister and dad for teaming up to catch this scumbag. There are too many families out there who don’t have the knowledge to stop a ‘relationship’ like this from happening.

And hey, not a teacher.

Mother accused of molesting her kids and selling the videos on Snapchat

Mother accused of molesting her kids and selling the videos on Snapchat

Keri Harwood

Hey, another Snapchat story without a teacher, however, I shouldn’t be making light of this since it’s a pretty disturbing story.

28-year-old Keri Harwood, of New River, Arizona, claims she met a man who would pay her to perform solo sex acts over Snapchat. Apparently her feminine wiles weren’t enough to keep the money flowing, as the man was said to have offered her more money to molest her two children and send him the videos. Payments that once hovered around the $100 mark quickly turned into payments of $500 to $600. Harwood allegedly molested the children while her husband was at work on at least five different occasions according to her own admittance. She is said to have told police she did these unspeakable acts because she ‘needed the money’. She’ll need the money even more as she’s currently being held on $150,000 bond.

It makes me wonder if Harwood started out as a camgirl. For those of you who may not know, there are sites where women, and men, can set up accounts where they can livestream themselves and set prices for certain acts. Models are paid in tokens, a type of virtual currency, instead of cash as to probably avoid prostitution laws. Plus it obfuscates how much models are being tipped and how much of a percentage the sites are taking in. In a number of these cases you can obtain the model’s Snapchat address to receive future images. It’s not unheard of for private deals to be made off-site. To clarify, this is merely speculation on my part, but it wouldn’t surprise me if this was the case.

As someone who was once entrusted to help raise two children this sickens me to no end. There were plenty of times where I was dirt poor as well and not once did I ever think about sexually exploiting my stepkids in order to make a couple of bucks. It makes me wonder what exactly she needed the money for. According to pictures on her social media accounts, it doesn’t seem like she was hurting for much.

No word on if the man who requested the videos has been apprehended or not.

You know, someone should start a website where parents like this are called out publicly, or maybe someone will.

Thanks to Lady Gray for the tip.

Georgia teen arrested for posting revenge porn on Snapchat of underage ex

Georgia teen arrested for posting revenge porn on Snapchat of underage ex

Hey look, a Snapchat story that doesn’t involve a teacher. Will wonders never cease? But, I digress.

Anyway, 18-year-old Zollise Kelly, of Roswell, Georgia, has been arrested for allegedly posting explicit pictures of his ex from when she was 16. Kelly was said to have posted the images on the photo sharing app Snapchat. The victim, who is now 18, says Kelly shared the pictures because she cut off contact with him and ended the relationship.

While 16 may be the age of consent in Georgia, explicit photos of a 16-year-old is still considered child porn. That’s not taking into account revenge porn is against the law in Georgia no matter what age the victim is. However, the sentence doesn’t seem to carry much weight.

Kids, it’s never too early to start protecting your reputation on social media because once a picture of you, explicit or otherwise, makes it online, it’s out there forever. That can come back to haunt you years later which could seriously impact your life in a negative way. It’s in your best interest to avoid situations where you can be photographed in any kind of compromising position.

Florida man wanted child porn “the more illegal the more $$$”

Florida man wanted child porn "the more illegal the more $$$"

Ryan Soto

25-year-old Ryan Soto of Wesley Chapel, Florida, was arrested for allegedly soliciting for child porn over social media. Soto was said to have asked users of the social network and dating app MeetMe for child porn and tried enticing people by saying “the more illegal the more $$$”. Thankfully, at least one MeetMe user reported him to police.

When police caught up with Soto, he reportedly admitted to sending explicit pictures of himself to minors on Facebook Messenger and, of course, Kik. (The messaging app full of sex offenders, pedophiles, and child porn collectors) Police say that Soto had a number of child porn images on his phone as well.

If the material he was asking for wasn’t so abhorrent, his desperation for it would almost be comical.

Whenever I post a story about MeetMe, it saddens me that it used to be MyYearbook, which was originally designed to be a safer alternative to MySpace for teens. Not that it ever was.
