26-year-old Christopher Surles of Rocky Mount, North Carolina was convicted in 2000 for taking indecent liberties with a minor. No word on what his sentence was back then because it obviously wasn’t enough.
After police found out that Surles was on MySpace, which is a huge no-no for registered sex offenders in North Carolina, police raided his home and found 200 videos of children being sexually abused.
This past Thursday Surles was sentenced to go back to prison for 10 years and to be on the sex offender registry for life.
Again, if you really want child molesters from re-offending keep them behind bars for life.
