Chachi loves tin foil

Chachi loves tin foil

Have I ever mentioned how I really can’t stand conspiracy theorists? I especially can’t stand them when they claim an incident where innocent lives are lost is a ‘false flag‘. These people, who lack common sense and completely disregard Occam’s Razor, think that every mass shooting is a false flag. The only good thing about the tin foil hat crowd is when they make their outlandish claims public, sane people can completely disregard anything else that comes out of their mouths.

For example, take Scott Baio. Yes, that Scott Baio. Chachi himself. This mental midget retweeted a conspiracy theorist’s photo claiming that the mother of Vickie Soto and the mother of Heather Heyer were the same person. For those of you who may not know, Vickie Soto was a teacher who was killed during the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School, while Heather Heyer was the woman was struck by a car and killed by a neo-nazi at the recent protest in Charlottesville.

After a well-deserved social media backlash Baio deleted the tweet, then half-heartedly apologized for the tweet saying he retweeted it but didn’t post it, which is somehow better according to him.

To make matters worse, a mother of child who died at Sandy Hook tweeted at Baio’s wife Renee about the matter. Renee Baio responded to Nelba Márquez-Greene with the following…

This is what this insane harpy told a woman who lost her 6-year-old daughter, Ana Márquez-Greene, at Sandy Hook. All because the Baios are stupid enough to believe whatever bullshit some random troglodyte on Twitter happens to post.

If you believe things like 9/11 was an inside job or Sandy Hook didn’t really happen, seek psychiatric help before you have to be forcefully committed. Then again, you probably think any kind of mental healthcare is part of a conspiracy between big pharma and Obamacare to steal your thoughts. Trust me, no one wants them.

Crazy conspiracy lady ordered to pay $8.4M to man she claims raped her

Crazy conspiracy lady ordered to pay $8.4M to man she claims raped her

Rape is a serious subject. It’s spoken about in the same grave tones as something like cancer. For many victims of rape, they consider it a worse crime than murder. One of the things that makes it such a horrible crime is many victims never come forward to report a rape out of fear of retribution or shame. What doesn’t help with the problem is when someone falsely claims to have been raped.

52-year-old Susan Shannon of Everett, Washington, claims she was raped by retired Army Colonel David “Wil” Riggins when the two attended West Point in the mid to late 1980s. By most reports she never contacted any authority about it until Col. Riggins was up for promotion to Brigadier General in 2013. Shannon then made blog posts on her personal blog claiming Riggins had raped her. Riggins was then pulled out of contention for the promotion because of the accusations. He retired instead. No subsequent investigation was ever able to prove any rape had taken place. Shannon was sued by Riggins for defamation and a jury ruled in his favor and awarded the retired Colonel $8.4 million.

Now I know it’s not unusual for rape victims not to come forward for years. I know there is a problem of rape and sexual assaults among the military. However, when you take a closer look at Ms. Shannon, the underlying tin foil hat starts to show.

On her blog, Ms. Shannon has claimed the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School was a conspiracy perpetrated by the government in order to take our guns. She claims to be a Christian, yet calls the Mormon Church a cult and the Roman Catholic Church part of the New World Order. She’s also a bible-thumping homophobe who would probably fit right in with the Phelps family. What’s worse is she has a GoFundMe page to help with her legal expenses and she’s already raised $11,000 at the time of this posting. I guess it pays to be crazy.

In my opinion she is a disgrace to rape victims who had to fight with every inch of their being to try to bring their rapists to justice. While character is not always the best indicator when it comes to proving rape, I think in this case it goes a long way in showing the mental capacity of this woman, her obvious delusions, and her apparent constant need for attention.

UPDATE: As I was writing this post I noticed the post on Shannon’s blog entitled ‘In my defense’, in which she pleads her case and claims to be the victim of the media, it appears she had all opposing comments removed and the comments were then closed. Again, I think this goes a long way in showing how her mind operates.

Sandy Hook truther sentenced for threatening victim’s family

Sandy Hook truther sentenced for threatening victim's family

Lucy Richards

(Story broke 6/7/2017)

57-year-old Lucy Richards of Tampa, Florida, was expected to enter into a plea deal with prosecutors for threatening a man by the name of Lenny Pozner. If that name sounds familiar to you, it’s because Mr. Pozner lost his son Noah at the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting at the hands of Adam Lanza. He’s also taken up the unenviable task of taking on Sandy Hook truthers, or people who believe Sandy Hook was a hoax perpetrated by the government in order to erode the 2nd Amendment. Because of that, he’s been the target of many attacks by the tin foil hat wearing crowd. Richards was one of those loons who had made threats against Mr. Pozner saying…

…“you gonna die, death is coming to you real soon,” according to federal court documents. The statements were made in January. She also wrote, “Look behind you it’s death,” according to the documents.

That is actually one of the more mild threats that Mr. Pozner has received.

As I was saying, Richards was expected to enter into a plea deal, but the presiding judge threw out the plea agreement and sentenced Richards to 5 months in prison, 5 months under house arrest and three years on probation.

Upon her sentencing, Mr. Pozner said it best…

People like Lucy Richards, who torment victims of violent crime by denying and mocking their pain are a sad reality. Her sadism is evident in her statements and the twisted joy she gets in pouring salt in our wounds and adding to our pain.

“Whatever demons drove her to threaten me, she needs to be held accountable for her crime.”

It will be interesting to see if she continues to cling to her conspiracy laden lunacy once her sentenced is completed.

Sandy Hook truther no-shows court date for death threats

Sandy Hook truther no-shows court date for death threats

Lucy Richards

57-year-old Lucy Richards was expected to appear in court today, in order to enter into a plea agreement that would spare her jail time. Richards was accused of harassing Lenny Pozner whose son Noah was killed at Sandy Hook. She is a conspiracy theorist who is said to believe that Sandy Hook never happened and was made up by the government in order to take the guns of citizens. Please allow me to refresh your memory as to what Richards is accused of saying to Mr. Pozner.

Richards is accused of telling the parent “you gonna die, death is coming to you real soon,” according to federal court documents. The statements were made in January. She also wrote, “Look behind you it’s death,” according to the documents.

The last we had heard from Richards, she was expected to enter into a plea agreement that would see her plead guilty and would only receive house arrest as a sentence. Instead she decided to just not show up to her court date. She allegedly told the Federal Court in Palm Beach County, Florida that she would not be attending today’s hearing with no reason being given.

“Miss Richards called my investigator and said she’s not coming,” Assistant Federal Public Defender Robert Berube told the judge. “That’s all I have.”

“Did she give a reason?” the judge asked.

“No,” said Berube. He told the judge his office gave Richards a written and verbal notice of the court hearing.

Now she has a warrant out for her arrest and prosecutors could possibly back out of the deal. If she is found guilty, she could be sentenced to 20 years in prison.

If you were to ask me why I thought she no-showed her court appearance, I would say that she is going to mount some conspiracy theory-laden defense that will try to draw attention to her supposition that Sandy Hook never happened. If I had to hazard a guess, she is going to try to force the federal government to prove that Sandy Hook happened, because why should she enter into a guilty plea when the instigating incident ‘never occurred’? To be honest, I hope she does try this defense as it usually never works out well in court for these conspiracy theorists. If that happens, I really hope the judge throws the book at her and makes an example out of her. These nutjobs need to be shown that there are repercussions for absurd actions.

UPDATE 4/3/2017: Richards was arrested again over the weekend. She offered no explanation for the no-show other than she doesn’t want her fate to be in the hands of a judge, indicating that she now wants to go to trial. She is now in the custody of the FBI and will appear in Federal Court within the next few days.

My mind is running wild at the possibilities of shenanigans that could happen during trial.

Sandy Hook truther charged with making death threats against victim’s family

Sandy Hook truther charged with making death threats

Lucy Richards

57-year-old Lucy Richards of Tampa, Florida, has been arrested for allegedly sending death threats to a Sandy Hook victim’s family. If you’re not familiar with the Sandy Hook truthers, they’re a bunch of conspiracy theorists who believe that the school shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School never took place and was a hoax perpetrated by the government designed to confiscate guns from gun owners. In the past I’ve posted about one such individual who confronted Vickie Soto’s sister and told her that she never existed.

Richards is accused of telling the parent “you gonna die, death is coming to you real soon,” according to federal court documents. The statements were made in January. She also wrote, “Look behind you it’s death,” according to the documents.

The parent that she was allegedly threatening was Lenny Pozner whose young son Noah was killed at Sandy Hook. Pozner has become the target of the tin foil hat wearing nutjobs because he took on the unenviable task of engaging these morons in discussing the reality of Sandy Hook.

Mr. Pozner has previously said the following about the Sandy Hook truthers

“Conspiracy theorists erase the human aspect of history,” Pozner told the magazine.

“My child — who lived, who was a real person — is basically going to be erased.”

If convicted, Richards is looking at 20 years behind bars.

With the fourth anniversary of the tragedy approaching in the next couple of days I’d imagine that a number of these cretins will start emerging from the fetid swamps of their unreasonable imaginations.

UPDATE 12/16/2016: Richards has pleaded not guilty to making death threats against Mr. Pozner.

UPDATE 3/7/2017: Richards is now expected to plead guilty in a change of plea hearing scheduled for March 29th.

Trench’s proposed rules for choosing the antichrist

starmason

Facebook seems to be a never-ending source of both amusement and frustration for me. I used to block people who would post something completely ludicrous. Now I use it to see what bullcrap is being posted and being passed off as fact.

Today one of my Facebook friends posted a link to an article from an end times conspiracy website. The article was about Pope Francis and how something he said in a sermon was some kind of secret code for all Catholics to eat babies or something. The actual subject of the article is immaterial because what I want to focus on is that at the end of the article it basically states “We’re calling it right now. Pope Francis is the antichrist.” The same Pope Francis who has eschewed the financial trappings that many of his predecessors embraced. The same Pope Francis who has preached nothing but peace and love among all religions since being elected to his position. The same man who drives around in a used 1984 Renault. It’s kind of hard to take a website like that seriously when they claim that the Super Bowl was filled with hidden Illuminati propaganda. More than likely Pope Francis is not the first person they’ve claimed to be the antichrist. I’m sure if I dug deep enough they probably also accused President Obama, Peyton Manning and Justin Bieber of being the antichrist although they nay be right on that last one.

So I am officially imposing a rule on antichrist accusations right now. From now on you only get one so make it count. If you say that Pope Francis is the antichrist and it turns out that you’re wrong, you’re done. No more antichrist guessing for you.

Also here’s a fun game to play if you know someone like that. If they say that so and so is the antichrist bet them $1000 that they’re wrong. Tell them that if they’re so sure that they know who the antichrist is then they’ll have no problem putting their money where their mouth is.

Lastly as an aside before you go bashing all religions in the comments I am a religious man but what I’m not is a fundamentalist asshat who hides behind their faith in order to spread hate and ignorance.

Father of victim deals with Sandy Hook truthers

newworldorder

The following link is a great story from The Trace about Lenny Pozner entitled “What Kind of Person Calls a Mass Shooting a Hoax?” Mr. Pozner is the father of Noah Pozner who was tragically killed at Sandy Hook Elementary School. Mr. Pozner also decided to take it upon himself to engage the people, and I use that term loosely, who believe the conspiracy theory that Sandy Hook didn’t happen.

This is just a sampling of how the ‘truthers’ reacted to him…

Pozner looked to engage in some sort of dialogue with the people who, around this time, made him their chief target. (One video montage that started making the rounds showed images of Noah set to a soundtrack of pornographic sounds.) In June 2014, Pozner accepted an invitation to join a private Facebook group called Sandy Hook Hoax. He told its members that he was willing to answer their questions. “I think I lasted all of eight minutes,” he recalls. One participant said, “Man, I’m gonna have to coach you up if you wanna go on TV and make money Lenny.” Another typical attacker proclaimed, “Fuck your fake family, you piece of shit.”

This is not unlike the jackass that approached Vickie Soto’s family in public to tell them that she never existed.

I urge you to read the entire article to see what these dregs who refuse to believe in reality do to further their preposterous conspiracy fantasies.

I really would love to know what’s broken in the brains of conspiracy theorists that make them believe the garbage they spew.

UPDATE 12/21/2015: One of Mr. Pozner’s detractors, James Tracy, a professor at Florida Atlantic University, has been fired by the school for allegedly harassing Mr. Pozner.

In case you’re wondering the level of Tracy’s harassment…

‘Tracy even sent us a certified letter demanding proof that Noah once lived, that we were his parents, and that we were the rightful owner of his photographic image.’

Firing isn’t enough karma for this assclown. If I were the Pozner’s I would be suing him for every last piece of tin foil.

UPDATE 1/14/2016: In the wake of Tracy’s firing the Washington Post is reporting that the threats against Lenny Pozner have only increased.

A few days after Tracy’s firing was announced, Pozner got several death threats. A woman (judging by the voice) left messages on his phone that sounded like, “You’re gonna die you [expletives and slurs deleted] …And what are you going to do about it? You can do absolutely nothing. … this is coming to you real soon [expletive deleted]. You going to die,” and “You [expletive deleted] look behind you, justice is coming to you real soon.”

I’m actually dumbfounded for once because there’s nothing new that I can say about these crackpots that I haven’t said already. It’s just so pathetic that they’ve taken to harassing a man who lost such a young child in one of the worst crimes in recent history.

UPDATE 4/26/2016: James Tracy is now suing Florida Atlantic University claiming that his termination violated his First Amendment rights. On the one hand FAU is a state-run university so it could be argued that the government curtailed his speech. On the more realistic hand harassment is not a form of protected speech. Also I have to add that I love how these conspiracy nuts will use the courts for their own gain but if they were the one being brought before a judge wouldn’t recognize the authority of the court.

Trench’s ‘conspiracy theory’ on mass shootings

newworldorder

Almost inevitably after a mass shooting, like the recent ones in Colorado or San Bernardino, some conspiracy theorist will say that the shooting was a false flag designed to distract the public from some hidden agenda. Usually the tin foil hat crowd says that these shootings are being used in order for the government to confiscate firearms from gun owners. Well two can play at that game.

Something else that’s almost inevitable after a mass shooting is that there is usually a spike in the number of firearms being purchased. They’re usually purchased by those who think that this will finally be the time where the government tries to take our guns. What if instead it was a false flag being carried out by the firearms industry designed to increase their profit?

Sounds ridiculous right? It should, just like every other conspiracy theory.

Sandy Hook truther assails victim’s family

newworldorder

I actually have somewhat of a fascination of conspiracy theories. I think they can be fun little works of fiction. What I can’t stand are the conspiracy theorists themselves who ignore all basic tenets of logic and science just to put forth whatever the latest tripe is that Alex Jones is pushing. It pisses me off even more when these dim-witted troglodytes feel the need to interject themselves in places they’re not welcome with their outrageous accusations.

Recently in Stratford, Connecticut, the Vickie Soto 5K race was being held with the purpose of raising money for educational scholarships in her name. For those of you who may not remember, Vickie Soto was the teacher at Sandy Hook Elementary School who selflessly put herself between gunman Adam Lanza and her students. She died protecting little lives.

So leave it to some false flag believing asshat to ruin this event. 32-year-old Matthew Mills of Brooklyn and went to the event allegedly with the sole purpose of approaching Vickie Soto’s family

Police said Mills approached Vicki’s Soto’s younger sister, Jillian. They said Mills shoved a photograph in the younger Soto’s face and began angrily charging that not only did the Sandy Hook tragedy not take place, but that Vicki Soto never existed.

Can you imagine walking up to a family at a memorial for their love one who died a tragically violent death to tell them that their daughter/sister didn’t even exist? I’m almost positive that the belief in conspiracy theories is an indication of sever mental illness. The kind that gets you a padded cell with daily electroshock treatments and possibly a frontal lobotomy.

If I were in charge I would round up all the conspiracy theorists and place them in secret FEMA prison camps. That way they’d be separated from the rest of society and they’d probably finally be happy since they told us all along.

UPDATE 12/21/2015: Mills’ lawyer is claiming ‘free speech’ as his client’s defense. Last time I checked, harassment is not a protected form of speech.

As much as patriotism is the last refuge of a scoundrel so is claiming free speech in order to violate the rights of others.

UPDATE 3/19/2016: Mills no-showed a court hearing last week. The judge has offered the ultimatum to Mills that he accept a plea deal from the state or go to trial. Knowing these conspiracy nuts I wouldn’t be surprised if he didn’t recognize the judge’s authority.

UPDATE 4/18/2016: Mills entered into an Alford plea and was sentenced to a one year suspended sentence and will have no further contact with Victoria Soto’s family.

In true truther douchebag fashion Mills told a reporter that “I think that the Sandy Hook family members need better acting lessons.”

It’s a damn shame that this assclown didn’t spend any lengthy amount of time in a cell.

Jade Helm goes out not with a bang but a whimper

jade-helm

When the military exercise codenamed Jade Helm 15 was first announced some citizens of Texas went nuts with conspiracy theories of martial law and the confiscation of guns. They caused such a clamor that the Governor of Texas, Greg Abbott, actually promised these whackjobs that the Texas Guard will watch over the exercise.

Well, guess what kids. Jade Helm has ended and Texas remains free and full of guns. However I’m sure the conspiracy theorists will take credit for keeping Texas free by allegedly exposing the evil government’s plans of rounding up gun owning Texans and holding them against their will in empty Wal-Marts. I’m just thankful that none of these nuts injured or killed a member of our own military.

I guess the tin foil hat crowd will now have to go back to ‘9/11 was an inside job’ until the next ‘false flag’ comes around.
