T.J. Lane escape wrap-up

T.J. Lane

T.J. Lane

Just posting some news tidbits in the aftermath of T.J. Lane’s brief escape from prison.

Lane was in possession of a pitchfork at the time of his capture but what I found more interesting is that prior to his arrest he was disciplined for having Pokemon cards in his cell among other more heinous infractions. The big badass can’t get by without his toys apparently.

Lane is now being housed in the maximum security Ohio State Penitentiary. From what I understand the facility he escaped from was minimum to medium security. He’s in there with the worst of the worst from Ohio. I wonder how tough he thinks he is now.

Chardon High shooter escapes from prison (CAPTURED)

T.J. Lane

T.J. Lane

Out of all the school shooters who are currently serving prison sentences T.J. Lane is probably the last one you’d want walking around free. In 2012 Lane opened fire inside the cafeteria of Chardon High School in Chardon, Ohio. WHen the smoke cleared 3 students were dead. Lane eventually pleaded guilty to murder charges and was sentenced to life without parole. At his sentencing he removed his short which revealed a t-shirt underneath that he had scrawled the word ‘killer’ on it then went on a vulgar tirade about his victims.

“This hand that pulled the trigger that killed your sons now masturbates the memory. Fuck all of you.”

Lane never showed any remorse and has been kept in isolation.

Tonight reports are coming from Lima, Ohio that say Lane was one of three that escaped from the Allen Oakwood Correctional Institution in Lima, Ohio.

At last report Lane was at large along with another inmate, 45-year-old Clifford Opperud, who was serving time for kidnapping and aggravated robbery. Neither man is said to be armed and both are wearing prison uniforms.

“All available troopers from the Ohio State Highway Patrol have been joined by Allen County Sheriff’s deputies and local area law enforcement in establishing a perimeter and searching the area. A Patrol helicopter with advanced infrared detection equipment has been deployed and is engaged in the search as well. The public is encouraged to report any suspicious persons or possible sightings by calling 911.”

With any luck Lima police or the Highway Patrol will catch this coward before he has the chance to harm anyone else. I can see Lane wanting to hurt more people if he were to get his hands on any kind of weapon.

Thanks to Steve Huff for the tip.

UPDATE 9/12/2014: Lane was apprehended five hours after his escape still in the area near the prison. Luckily no one was injured in his apprehension. No details yet on exactly how Lane was captured but I hope he resisted arrest.

Chardon High gunman has LWOP sentence upheld

Chardon school shooter T.J. Lane’s conviction is upheld by appeals court; judges say life sentence was just:

T.J. Lane

T.J. Lane

In a unanimous decision the 11th District Court of Appeals of Ohio upheld the sentence of now 19-year-old T.J. Lane. Lane was sentenced to life without parole for the shooting deaths of Russel King Jr., Demetrius Hewlin and Daniel Parmentour at Chardon High School in Ohio. If you’ll recall, at his sentencing Lane gave the families of the victim’s the finger and made very disparaging remarks about the victims.

His lawyer was arguing that Lane should not have been given life without parole because Lane was 17 at the time and suffered from auditory hallucinations. The court didn’t buy it…

“Further, we cannot say (Lane’s) sentence of life in prison without parole is so disproportionate to the crimes he committed as to shock the community’s sense of justice,’’ the decision says.

“Although (Lane’s) sentence is severe, it is not disproportionately so. He shot six students in school, three of whom were killed and another paralyzed without provocation and in cold blood. The horrific and senseless nature of this homicide is compounded by the fact that, at sentencing, (Lane) showed no remorse and even contempt for his victims and their families.’’

The court’s decision even included how Lane was faking it when he claimed to have heard voices.

Lane is also being held in isolation. The article doesn’t say why but it sounds like he’s not being the model prisoner.

Chardon High gunman to appeal sentence

T.J. Lane (Why the long face?)

T.J. Lane (Why the long face?)

Chardon High School shooter TJ Lane appeals his life in prison without parole sentence:

T.J. Lane appeals life sentence without possibility of parole:

You remember T.J. Lane don’t you. He’s the nice little boy who walked into Chardon High School in Ohio and shot and killed three students. Then at his sentencing he flipped off the victims’ families and told them that he masturbates to the memories of the victims’ deaths. Yeah, him. It appears that he will be appealing his three life sentences without parole.

Lane’s attorney had this to say about filing the appeal…

“Under what circumstances can you give a minor life without the possibility of parole is the question,” Partlow said.

How about the fact that he shot and killed three people, wounded two more including handicapping a kid for life and showing negative remorse for it? I think that’s a pretty good circumstance for life without parole.

In a nutshell he hopes that the Supreme Court ruling in 2012 which said that there can be no mandatory life sentences for minors will somehow sway the appeal in their favor. Except for the fact that T.J. Lane was not given a mandatory sentence. Lane was 17 at the time he committed the murders.

Not only should this coward have his life sentence upheld in a just world he’d also be eligible for the death penalty. Thanks again Supreme Court for screwing that up.

Judge was unaware of T.J. Lane’s ‘KILLER’ shirt

T.J. Lane

Chardon High School shooter TJ Lane ‘KILLER’ T-shirt controversy continues:

According to the judge that presided over T.J. Lane’s sentencing for killing 3 at Chardon High in Ohio he was unaware that Lane’s shirt said ‘KILLER” as I posted about the other day.

The following statement was issued by the court…

Except when the judge entered the courtroom the defendant was seated for the entire sentencing. The court was unaware of the shirt. The court did not notice the shirt.

Had the court noticed the shirt, the court would have immediately stopped the proceedings, adjourned the court and the court would have ordered the defendant to put on proper attire.

However disgusting it may be, the defendant has a right to make a statement at sentencing.

I’m actually glad in a strange way that the judge did not see it since it showed just what kind of cretin Lane really is, I just hope that the fact the judge did not notice it results in some kind of appeal for Lane. This little assclown deserves more than every day that he spends in prison.

Chardon High School shooter TJ Lane gets life in prison without parole for triple murder:

LIFE IN PRISON: TJ Lane wears ‘KILLER’ shirt, flips middle finger to courtroom during sentencing:

18-year-old T.J. Lane was sentence to life without parole today for killing Russel King Jr., Demetrius Hewlin and Daniel Parmentour in the Chardon High School shooting but not before giving a big fuck you to the families of the victims, literally.

When Lane when to speak on his behalf he opened up his buttoned shirt revealing a white t-shirt with the word ‘Killer’ written on it, similar to the exact shirt he was arrested in. Then while flipping the families the bird Lane had this to say…

“This hand that pulled the trigger that killed your sons now masturbates the memory. Fuck all of you.”

I am far from happy about his actions but for once one of these little pricks really shows themselves for the cowards that they are.

The judge had this to say in sentencing Lane…

“It’s abundantly clear that Lane wasn’t impaired, insane or incompetent at the time of the shootings. He planned, prepared for and executed the scheme by himself,” the judge explained. “Without remorse, an offender is likely to re-offend. In this case, we would expect (to see remorse). Needless to say, that is lacking. The defendant tried to make a name for himself.”

To make this whole thing even more farcical Lane said he is going to appeal. I can only see the lowliest of ambulance chasers wanting to take that case on.

What’s almost as unfortunate as the senseless loss of life that Lane imposed was the fact that he was 17 at the time of the shooting making him ineligible for the death penalty. If any living school shooter deserves it it’s this cowardly little assclown.

As far as making a name for yourself you failed there too. In a few months no one outside of Ohio will even know you exist, except me. I’ll be here to occasionally remind the world that weak and selfish assclowns like you aren’t the badasses you think you are. I’ll be here to remind them that you’re just a craven, sniveling, snot nosed coward who hides behind a gun.

Rot in hell scumbag.

Chardon High gunman pleads guilty

T.J. Lane

T.J. Lane

T.J. Lane pleads guilty to Chardon school shootings:

On almost a year to the day since Russel King Jr., Demetrius Hewlin and Daniel Parmentour lost their lives in a senseless act of violence their killer has pleaded guilty to their murders. Today T.J. Lane was ruled competent to stand trial for the shooting at Chardon High School in Ohio. It was at this point that Lane’s attorney entered the guilty plea on behalf of his client.

Lane was 17 and waiting for the bust at Chardon that would have taken him to his alternative school. Instead of getting on the bus Lane entered Chardon armed with a .22 killing the aforementioned victims and wounding Joy Rickers and Nick Walczak. Mr. Walczak is now in a wheelchair because of the wounds he received at the hands of Lane.

Lane’s defense claimed that he suffered from visual and auditory hallucinations. A story that’s been tried many times before in school shootings and has yet to work.

Even with his guilty plea Lane is still looking at a life sentence since he was charged as an adult. He is scheduled to be sentenced on March 19th.

Attorneys say T.J. Lane insane at time of Chardon High School shooting:

Attorneys for 18-year-old T.J. Lane have entered a not guilty plea by reason of insanity for their client. Lane is accused in the school shooting murders of Demetrius Hewlin, Russell King Jr., and Daniel Parmertor at Chardon High School in Chardon, Ohio.

Lane’s lawyers are claiming that Lane suffered from auditory and visual hallucinations. You know, the kind that nobody can really prove. Or as I have called it with other school shooters, fakeritis.

Lane knew exactly what he was doing. He posed with his guns on Twitter and had the word killer written on his shirt when he was arrested.

Lane was 17 at the time of the shooting and has been charged as an adult. He’s looking at life without parole.

Ohio teen pleads not guilty to school shooting:

This past week T.J. Lane was indicted for and pleaded not guilty to the shooting at Chardon High School that left 3 dead. You know, just once I’d like to see one of these scumsuckers plead guilty without a plea deal. Then again I’d much rather have there be no more school shootings but here we are.

The 17-year-old Lane was indicted by grand jury on charges of aggravated murder, attempted aggravated murder and felonious assault. He has been charged as an adult and is looking at life in prison. His bond has been set at $1M.

So far I haven’t heard a peep out of the kids criminal crowd on why Lane shouldn’t be charged as an adult, I mean it’s not like he’s a minority or anything.

Chardon gunman to be tried as an adult

T.J. Lane

T.J. Lane

T.J. Lane to be tried as adult in Chardon High School shootings:

This past Thursday Chardon High School gunman T.J. Lane was ordered to be tried as an adult for the school shooting murders of Demetrius Hewlin, Russell King Jr., and Daniel Parmertor. This means that if convicted the 17-year-old is looking at life behind bars without the possibility of parole. That was pretty much to be expected and I’m pleased as one could be in a situation like this that it happened. However I want to discuss a few other things that happened during the proceedings.

The first is the testimony of arresting officer Deputy Jon Bilicic.

Bilicic testified that he found Lane wearing a shirt with the word “Killer” on it. A gun and a knife were found nearby. He read Lane his rights and began speaking with him as he drove to the sheriff’s office.

The officer asked whether anyone had upset him or picked on him. Lane said neither of those was the case, either.

So when someone from the Kid Criminal Crowd tries to say that he shouldn’t be tried as an adult

And what would one of these hearings be without a criminal defense attorney making laughable claims…

DeVan argued that Lane should be released on a $500,000 bond, secured through the property of his family. He said Lane could begin to receive the treatment he needs and remain on house arrest and electronic monitoring.

Really? ‘Treatment’ and house arrest for a triple murderer? Does the defense want the court to fluff his pillows and bring him some lemonade too? The only treatment this loser needs is a bullet behind the ear. Since that’s not possible he can serve house arrest for the rest of his life in his new house of a 6’x 6′ prison cell.
