Knoxville Man Pleads Guilty to Attempting to Entice 12-Year-Old to Engage in Sex:

58-year-old Raymond Boden of Knoxville, Tennessee recently pleaded guilty to trying to solicit a 12-year-old girl for sex through craigslist.

Back in may of 2011 Boden posted an ad stating that he was looking for a mother and daughter to have sex with. A woman responded to the ad claiming to be the mother of a 12-year-old girl. Boden made his intentions very clear that he wanted to have sex with both of them. Boden showed up to a hotel armed with ‘sexual aids’ and a present for the girl. However instead of a girl and her mother he was met by the Knoxville Police. They were the ones who actually responded to the ad.

With his guilty plea Boden is looking at 10 to life but as I always say it will probably be closer to ten than life. While I’m at it let me beat another dead horse. This is further proof that craigslist needs to monitor their site. When someone posts an ad looking for mother-daughter sex they’re not talking about a mother and her adult daughter. One more dead horse to beat. If police are continually arresting guys like this think of how many have not been arrested or have gotten away with it before being arrested.

I’ve had commenters try to tell me that craigslist is a boon for police trying to catch child predators and that moderating the site would drive them underground. That’s the point slapnuts. The farther they are driven underground the less often these crimes happen. Since craigslist has refused to do anything about this they’re nothing more than a public avenue used by pedophiles to network with each other. Take that avenue away from them and there will be less victims.

Obvious headline of the day

Craigslist is hotbed of online prostitution:

Actually this is a great article from the Knoxville News Sentinel that looks at craigslist prostitution from the police side and the side of the slimy pimps.

However the article mentions one thing that one former reader touched on before, the alleged disclaimers that craigslist pimps and hookers put on their ads.

Advertisements on Craigslist that feature suggestive language and photographs often also feature a disclaimer. Several on the Knoxville site read:

“Money exchanged is for my time and companionship services only. Anything else that may or may not occur is a matter of personal choice between two consenting adults of legal age and is not contracted for, nor is it requested to be contracted for any other matter.

“This is not an offer of prostitution and calling me constitutes acceptance of these terms.”

Of course police have the same opinion of them as I do…

“That’s baloney,” said Greg Norris of the Johnson City department, explaining that if a sex act occurs and money is exchanged, such statements about “matters of personal choice between two consenting adults” don’t hold up in court.

I hope our friend in the assless chaps is still reading.
