19-year-old Kung Bik Cem, of Tucker, Georgia, was recently arrested for allegedly trying to rape a woman that he met through Facebook, but the story is much more scary than that. Cem, and a friend, drove from Jacksonville, Florida, to Johnson County, Indiana where his female Facebook friend was attending a wedding. According to Google Maps, that is close to a 900 mile trip, clocking in at roughly 13 hours.
Cem reportedly approached the woman at the wedding and took her cell phone in order to get her into his car. Once in his car he drove off with the woman. She grabbed the wheel, causing the car to go off the road on the local interstate. It was then that Cem is said to have thrown the woman in the back of his car and tried to rape her. He allegedly told the woman that he was going to impregnate her so she would have to marry him. Luckily, if that word can ever be used in stories like this, they were found by an Indiana State Trooper before Cem could rape his victim.
I have a few questions. First off, who the hell thinks in 2017 that if I make you have a rape baby you have to marry me? Cem told police that the stealing of a potential bride was customary in his culture. What culture is that and when was it customary, the Mongol Dynasty maybe? Secondly, what was the friend’s role in all of this? Did he or she agree to Cem’s deranged plan or just think it was a road trip? Lastly, how was this emotionally stunted ignoramus able to function in society before making his road trip of rape?
Be careful who you friend on Facebook, you never know who is going to be a psycho stalker.
