Parkland shooter is a racist and a mother-puncher

Parkland shooter is a racist and a mother-puncher

(Trench’s note: I started writing this post over a month ago then ‘things’ happened but I’m trying to deal. I didn’t want to waste the post so better late than never.)

As I was trying to catch up on all the news I’ve been neglecting, I came across this article from the Sun-Sentinel in Florida about Nikolas Cruz’s behavior before the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. The article interviews a number of people who knew Cruz and their statements show just how hateful he was.

One acquaintance of Cruz claims that Cruz hated black people since a ‘girlfriend’ of his left him for a black man. I use the sarcasm quotes around girlfriend because it’s unclear, to me at least, if this girlfriend even knew that Cruz considered her his girlfriend. For all we know, his ‘girlfriend’ could have been of the Canadian variety who you wouldn’t know. That same person claims that Cruz was always mad about not having a girlfriend leading me once again to believe that Cruz may have been an incel. I wouldn’t be surprised if the fact he couldn’t get a girlfriend was the motive behind the shooting itself. Another acquaintance claims that Cruz would often make antisemitic remarks and give Nazi salutes. Racism, anti-Semitism, and misogyny due to the shooters own inadequacy with women are not uncommon among many school shooters.

Speaking of inadequacy with women, Cruz also allegedly punched his own mother in the face so hard he knocked her teeth out. According to a relative, Cruz wanted to go to Wal-Mart but his mother said no. So being the sane and rational being that he was, Cruz is said to have punched his mother in the face so hard that it caused $2000 in dental damages. A bill that Lynda Cruz was still paying off at the time of her passing. I do not wish to speak ill of the dead, but this was the same women who allowed Cruz to have multiple guns in the home. I realize that in too many cases blood is thicker than water, but is it too thick when your own life is in danger? If she had not passed away last year it’s my opinion that Nikolas Cruz would have killed his own mother than have gone on to commit a mass shooting much in the vein of Adam Lanza and Sandy Hook.

But yeah, let’s blame video games and President Obama for the school shooting instead of where the real issues lie, at the feet of the shooter and the lax regulations that allowed this psychopath to own multiple guns. Remember kids, you can’t have a school shooting without the shooting part. Take away the gun you take away the shooting.

Parkland shooter’s videos from before the attack

Parkland shooter's videos released

Late in May, because I’m prompt like that, cellphone videos made by Parkland gunman Nikolas Cruz were made public. The Miami Herald posted these videos to their website and I’m posting them here today. I’m obviously not posting these videos in order to glorify the extreme loss of life that happened but to show how much of an emotionally stunted weakling Cruz really is.

He sounds like a 13-year-old girl who was raised by the internet and had memes for parents. If it wasn’t for the fact that he owned a veritable arsenal, no one in their right mind should have been afraid of this coward.

Notice at first he talks about his supposed power then later in the video he refers to the power of his AR, referring to the AR-15 rifle. So even by his own words, he’s another coward hiding behind a gun because he couldn’t deal with his own inadequacies without resorting to bloodshed. As is typical with these deluded and entitled sociopaths, Cruz blames everyone else for his failures. As far as who ‘Angie’ is, as far as I can tell there’s been no definitive answer to that question. If I had to hazard a guess, I imagine she’s probably a poor girl that Cruz had an infatuation with who probably didn’t even know he existed. The crossover between emotionally stunted and socially awkward men who can’t approach women without being creepy and school shooters have become more prevalent in recent years. It wouldn’t surprise me if Cruz was either a borderline or full-on incel. Although, I saw some non-gender specific person on Tumblr say “They would be the Angie to their Nik”, Cruz could probably now have the pick of the litter on Tumblr. And by litter I mean trash.

Not really much to talk about here outside of the worst ad for Uber ever. However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention how he once again talked about his AR like not only is it an extension of himself but also like a gun is the ultimate problem solver.

All of this paints a picture of the stereotypical school shooter. An entitled and selfish antisocial malcontent who doesn’t have the emotional wherewithal to deal with the same life problems that everyone has. Anyone that reaches for a gun in these matters is nothing more than a petulant coward.

Parkland shooter’s brother starts anti-bullying campaign even though shooter wasn’t bullied

Parkland shooter's brother starts anti-bullying campaign even though shooter wasn't bullied

Zachary Cruz

Back in June, it was reported that Zachary Cruz started an anti-bullying foundation. Cruz is the brother of Nikolas Cruz, the psychopath who murdered 17 at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High in Florida back in February. Zachary Cruz is no stranger to law enforcement after he was caught trespassing on the school’s grounds shortly after the shooting claiming he wanted to ‘soak it all in’. While in custody, Zachary Cruz allegedly bragged about how many girls he and his brother were going to get due to his brother’s infamy. He has since been allowed to leave Florida and has moved to Virginia.

Before we get to the obvious point, is this really the type of person who should be running an anti-bullying foundation? I’m not saying bullying isn’t a major problem within our schools, considering I experienced it on a first-hand basis almost daily for 12 years. Victims of severe bullying definitely need more resources to help them deal with the problem, but those resources should not be inspired by someone who tries to capitalize on mass murder.

Now on to the obvious point. Zachary Cruz claims a program like his could have helped his brother…

“He was open to trying new things, so this organization – let’s say a kid would’ve saw him at Douglas by himself and that kid would’ve approached him and became his friend, I really think that person would’ve changed this whole thing.”

That’s great but let’s get a few things straight. Nikolas Cruz wasn’t bullied. He was ostracized because of his obsession with guns and his repulsive behavior such as posting pictures of dead animals on social media. Let’s also not forget that when a female student of the school tried reaching out to Nikolas Cruz, he became aggressive toward her and sexually harassed her.

No program would have done any good for Nikolas Cruz, and any anti-bullying campaign connected to him is just trying to deflect responsibility.

Ga. highway gunman idolized Parkland shooter

Ga. highway gunman idolized Parkland shooter

I don’t know how this didn’t make bigger headlines. I didn’t hear about this story until late Saturday and only because of its connection to the Parkland school shooting.

Anyway, on Friday, 26-year-old Rex Whitmire Harbour used a 9mm handgun to shoot at random commuters on Georgia Highway 365 in Hall County, Georgia. Harbour took the coward’s way out by way of a self-inflicted gunshot after a short chase by police. Police were said to have found three 9mm handguns, a 12-gauge shotgun, a BB-gun, and 3,000 rounds of ammunition in Harbour’s car. Three people were injured, two with gunshot wounds. Thankfully, no one received any life-threatening injuries.

The reason this came across my radar is that Harbour was a fan of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooter Nikolas Cruz. When police searched Harbour’s home, where he lived with his parents I might add, they found the almost prerequisite hate-filled journal where Harbour called Cruz a hero and wrote that Cruz gave Harbour “courage and confidence.” I’m pretty sure he got those words mixed up with crazy and cowardice. No word on if Harbour’s parents knew anything about their son’s obvious mental issues. Also, I haven’t seen how Harbour obtained his guns but considering it’s Georgia, I doubt he had a hard time getting his hands on them. Second Amendment y’all.

This is why I say people who exhibit some kind of hero worship toward killers and mass murderers should have close eyes kept on them. This kind of behavior is in no way beneficial to anyone and should be treated as a sign of a dangerous mental illness.

Parkland school shooter getting fan mail

Parkland school shooter getting fan mail

This is a story from March that I had hoped to finish before the end of April but here we are.

You know, after 18 years of dealing with Columbiners, Holmies, and Chupacabras, you’d think I wouldn’t be surprised when some mass murdering reprobate attracts a cult following, yet here we are.

The inhuman scumbag known as Nikolas Cruz, who killed 17 victims at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, is being sent fan mail and love letters in jail. I thought due to the fact that he killed so many innocent victims, and looks like a rat-faced weasel, that he wouldn’t attract that many murder groupies. I was wrong.

On March 15, a person who identified themselves as an 18-year-old woman from Texas wrote: “When I saw your picture on the television, something attracted me to you.”

“Your eyes are beautiful and the freckles on your face make you so handsome.”

Another woman sent Cruz nine suggestive photos, the newspaper reported.

One woman recently solicited pictures to make a collage to send Cruz.

“I want him to see how many people love and care for him and all the beautiful faces,” she wrote, according to the Sentinel.

I’m sure that’s just the tip of the crazy iceberg. He has also reportedly been sent photos of some of his female fans in various states of undress. Thankfully, the jail has not been allowing Cruz to see his fan mail.

I wonder what they’re calling themselves since every congregation of murder groupies needs to have a name nowadays. I would imagine Cruzers would be too obvious. Then again most of these lovesick loons lack the creative imagination to come up with anything else.

If your son or daughter is one of these Cruz fans, seek help for them immediately. This may not be just a phase as I have witnessed full-grown adults who indulge in this behavior. Once again, I’m reminded of the woman with a family who many years ago posted on a columbiner forum about having Dylan Klebold’s ghost babies. Again, I wish I was making that up. There’s also the copycat syndrome to consider as many of today’s school shooters, and would-be school shooters, were fans of school shooters that came before them.

Parkland shooter’s brother released from jail again

Parkland shooter's brother released from jail again

Zachary Cruz

In my previous post about Zachary Cruz, the brother of mass murdering troglodyte Nikolas Cruz, I had hoped that his latest probation violation would have kept him in jail for at least six months. Zachary Cruz was sentenced to six months probation after being caught trespassing in March on the grounds of Marjory Stoneman Douglas High where his brother killed 17 victims. He reportedly claimed he went to the school to ‘take it all in’. During his first trip to jail, he is said to have bragged about how many girls he and his brother would get since they were ‘famous’.

Instead of being jailed for six months, Zachary Cruz was only jailed for three days as he was released from jail yesterday.

Broward County Judge Melinda Kirsch Brown gave him a gentle warning. “Please do what you know is right and make wise choices,” she said during a brief hearing on Thursday afternoon.

The younger Cruz brother is a ticking time bomb and a judge is just going to give him a pat on the head and release him back to the streets? I wonder if his release has anything to do with a lawsuit a civil rights group has filed on behalf of Zachary Cruz. The group claims Cruz is being ‘harassed’ by law enforcement. Maybe if he wasn’t trying to capitalize on the number of bodies left in his brother’s wake, then the police wouldn’t have a reason to ‘harass’ him.

UPDATE 5/12/2018: Congratulations Virginia. The courts have allowed Zachary Cruz to move to your state. Maybe he can hang out with Kenny Bartley.

Parkland shooter’s brother back in jail

Parkland brother's shooter back in jail

Zachary Cruz

In my previous post, I detailed the incidents that led Zachary Cruz to jail and then probation. To sum up, Cruz, the brother of mass-murdering cretin Nikolas Cruz, was arrested for trespassing at the same school where his brother killed 17 people in Parkland, Florida. His reason for being at the school was to ‘take it in’ as he put it. While in jail he bragged about how famous his brother was. Zachary Cruz was released on six months probation after pleading guilty to trespassing.

Tuesday, Zachary Cruz was arrested again. This time for violating his probation. Not only was he allegedly caught driving without a valid license, but police also say that he was within 25 feet of a high school in Lake Worth, Florida.

So far, no reason has been given as to why Cruz was at the school this past weekend, but if I had to hazard a guess, it feels like he really wants to cash in on his brother’s reputation and obviously not in a good way. Hopefully, he’ll have at least a six-month timeout where investigators can get a better handle on his machinations.

Parkland shooter’s brother arrested back in March for trespassing on school grounds

Parkland shooter's bother arrested in March for trespassing on school grounds

Zachary Cruz

Next on the ‘Back in March’ series…

18-year-old Zachary Cruz is the brother of Nikolas Cruz, the mass-murdering assclown responsible for the 17 deaths at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. Apparently, Zachary Cruz was so into what his brother did he thought it would be a great idea to go visit the school, in his words, to “soak it in.” Cruz was booked into the Broward Sheriff’s Office jail back in mid-March, and his bond was initially set at $25. You’re reading that correctly, twenty-five dollars.

Once in jail, Zachary Cruz allegedly bragged to the other prisoners about how many girls they could get thanks to his brother’s infamy.

“There is discussion of starting some sort of pen pal or fan club and how many girls he is capable of attracting, referring to his brother Nikolas.”

I’ll be addressing that particular issue soon. But getting back to the matter at hand, Zachary Cruz’s bond was raised to $500,000, a more appropriate amount if you ask me, but I digress. Zachary Cruz’s attorney claimed the bail was set unfairly due to who his brother is. Doesn’t seem unfair to me since he was hanging around the same school where his brother gunned down 17 people in cold blood just to ‘take it all in’.

Zachary Cruz pleaded no contest to trespassing and only received six months probation, so sleep well, Broward County.

The bullying myth descended on Parkland

The bullying myth descended on Parkland

Hey, look at me. I’m working on a story from late March. I’m making progress.

Anyway, as what happens with most school shootings, some have claimed the Parkland shooter, Nikolas Cruz, was bullied. In my opinion, this is the effect of what I call the bullying myth. Not that I think bullying is a myth. Hell, I was bullied relentlessly for 12 years. What I’m talking about is the trope that sprung from Columbine that all school shooters were bullied. Shortly after Columbine happened, there were reports in the press claiming the shooting happened because the gunmen were bullied into it. However, there has never been any evidence to prove that claim, even though many misguided people still cling to that belief.

So it was no surprise to me to hear some people claimed Cruz was bullied, and it was even less of a surprise to see the bullying claims being debunked. As a matter of fact, school shooters typically tend to be antisocial little cretins, to begin with whose strange behavior makes them outcasts. Nikolas Cruz is another example of that. According to a former classmate of Cruz’s, she tried to befriend him even after being bullied by him. In return for her kindness Cruz is said to have verbally abused and sexually harassed her.

This reminds me of the story of Cody Thunder. Back in 2005, he tried to befriend Jeff Weise, who ended up killing nine people at Red Lake High School. Instead of Cody’s offer of friendship being reciprocated, Weise just talked about guns and shooting people. The Red Lake High School shooting took place the very next day.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t reach out to people, but some people just can’t be reached.

Parkland shooter’s mother wasn’t afraid of her son having guns

Parkland shooter's mother wasn't afraid of her son having guns

Speaking of parents and guns…

I know we’ve all heard about the many breakdowns and failures that led to the Valentine’s day shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida, that left 17 dead. However, I want to talk about one glaring one that may have been missed with all the superfluous stories about the shooting grabbing most of the headlines.

Nikolas Cruz’s late mother, Lynda Cruz, was said to have told a therapist that she wasn’t afraid of her son owning a gun

Lynda Cruz told Del Barrio that she had no worries about her son as a gun owner.

“I’m not concerned and I’m not afraid,” she said, according to counselor Anna Del Barrio’s report. “My son has pellet guns and he’s always respected the rules of where they can and can’t be used.”

This was after many documented outbursts of violence and self-harm by Cruz himself. This was also while Cruz was 17.

If a child has mental health issues and has thoughts of suicide, why on earth would you encourage them to own a gun?

I know hindsight is always 20/20, but let her mistake be a lesson to parents who are thinking of allowing their minor children to own a gun. They’re not toys, they’re not a phase, they’re not a hobby and they’re not safe. They are weapons whose only real purpose is to kill whatever it’s pointed toward. To allow these instruments of death to be in the hands of children is the ultimate in parental irresponsibility.
