WV teacher can't remember how many nude Snapchats she sent to students

Tracy Miller

We just can’t go that long without a Snapchat teacher story can we?

This time the perpetrator is said to be 27-year-old Tracy Miller, who is a teacher at a high school in Logan County, West Virginia. She is accused of allegedly sending explicit pictures of herself over Snapchat to at least five students. According to police, Miller can’t recall exactly how many of the pictures she sent to students.

Miller was charged with distribution of obscene matter to minors and was released after her husband posted her bond. I guess she’s got some ‘splainin to do. She’s also been suspended without pay by the school. The investigation is ongoing and police are looking for additional victims, and yes they are victims.

If this had been a male teacher who Snapchatted his junk to multiple female students, I would imagine the fine people of Logan County would have already gathered the pitchforks and torches. Women who prey on minor boys are just as dangerous as their male counterparts and as a society we need to get rid of this ‘I wish she could have been my teacher’ mentality.

Gwinnett Police Officer Arrested:

Like I said recently about our nation’s military I have the utmost respect for the men and women in law enforcement in our country. They really do have a thankless task. However I will post about a dirty cop when the occasion sadly arises. Now one doesn’t have to be ‘on the take’ to be dirty, one can be a sexual predator as well.

For example take 26-year-old Gwinnett, Georgia rookie cop David Lowe. He was recently arrested by his own department for allegedly sharing sexually explicit videos with minors on MyYearbook. The impression that I got from the articles on Lowe he allegedly created a MyYearbook profile posing as a teen. Supposedly MyYearbook limits what age group you can communicate with. If you were to list your age on your profile as 26 then you wouldn’t be able to chat with minors through the site. However as I’ve documented many times in the past that doesn’t mean that predators can’t lie about their age in their profiles.

Surprisingly Lowe is set to be terminated by the Gwinnett Police Department if he hasn’t been already. That’s refreshing since I’ve posted too many stories of bad cops who get suspended with pay.

UPDATE 5/29/2012: Lowe is out on bail.

MySpace predator with ludicrous alibi gets no prison time

No Prison Time for MySpace Predator:

I originally posted about Kevin Dale Pierce here. Back in 2007 the then 33-year-old Pierce was arrested for posing as a 19-year-old art student from UCLA soliciting nude pictures from underage girls over MySpace. When he was arrested he told police he did not believe he was breaking the law as long as he did not meet the girls in person. Because apparently he thinks that California must not have child pornography laws.

And it seems that they may not as Riverside Superior Court Judge Mark Mandio gave Pierce probation after he pleaded guilty to…

…two counts each of annoying or molesting a child under 18 years old and communicating with a minor with the intent to commit a specified offense and 25 counts of bringing into the state matter depicting a child sexually.

When he was first arrested police sound they found several external hard drives yet all he gets is probation. See Canada, I’m not just picking on you.

So this scumbag poses as a 19-year-old ‘art student’ to get nude pics from underage girls and all he gets is probation. Good job Judge Mark Mandio, you set loose another dangerous predator back on the internet.

It's not illegal if I don't meet them in person

Man Arrested For Nude Pics Of Girls On MySpace:

Another creep arrested for MySpace misdeeds. The subject in question is one Kevin Dale Pierce from the City of Angels. The 33-year-old Pierce was arrested for convincing teenage girls to send him nude pictures of themselves. Several external hard drives were found when police searched his house. How many girls did he contact top have that many hard drives? Pierce claimed to be a 19-year-old art student from UCLA.

The investigation started in January, when a Temecula resident reported that her 14-year-old daughter was swapping notes with someone who claimed to be a 19-year-old art student at UCLA, DeLuna said.

The two started an online relationship last November and, after several weeks, established a bond of trust, according to the sergeant. The suspect persuaded the girl to send photos of herself in various stages of undress, purportedly for an art project, DeLuna said.

The girl’s mother noticed her daughter’s computer screen and read messages from the suspect asking for additional pictures in varied poses, DeLuna said.

The woman told a deputy that the e-mail she spotted was from someone who called himself “kev pie” and thanked the girl for pictures she had sent him, according to an affidavit for a search warrant.

The e-mailer then requested that the girl send some more snapshots and wrote, “Is there any way you can also take the exact same angles, straight from behind and from the 45 degree side … but on the floor instead of standing? so I can draw the legs and the body bent in shape,” the affidavit states.

The mother did not know what the e-mail referred to and asked her daughter about it.

The girl later told investigators that she informed the person she was corresponding with that she was 14 years old. She told detectives that she and the suspect began chatting on “I Chat” after meeting on MySpace.com, according to the affidavit.

Investigators tracked down Pierce’s ISP address, accessed his MySpace account and determined he was actually 33 and that he had been communicating with at least 10 other girls, persuading them to send nude photos of themselves, police allege.

The best part is Pierce’s explanation.

“He seemed pretty eager to try to clear his name,” DeLuna said, adding that Pierce told them he did not believe he was breaking the law as long as he did not meet the girls in person.

I would love to have seen the cops’ faces when he told them that.

I could not find a definitive MySpace for Pierce.
